Who We Are..
LDSC is a 5019c)(3) not-for-profit organization that began as a group of seventeen National Ski Patrollers who volunteered at the Michigan International Speedway as Ushers in the grandstands and Security on Pit Road. Our vision continues to grow along with our volunteers.
We are the volunteer workers who provide staffing for the events at Michigan International Speedway. Our group has evolved from a hand full of volunteers, to a network of volunteers over 400 strong. We provide the ushers in the Grandstands, security for the Champions Club, Terrace Suites, Pit Row, and the Garage Area.
We are committed to providing both the fans and the teams the best race day experience possible.
We are "The Lucky Dogs"
Mission Statement..
Lucky Dog Speedway Charities (LDSC) are volunteers dedicated to providing funds and/or services to different children’s charities for the purpose of making an impact on the lives of children and their families in a crisis or time of need and maintain a higher quality of living. Our funds are directed to organizations for the purpose of providing medication, supplies, and expert medical personnel to families in need.
What We Do..
Lucky Dog Speedway Charities was formed with the idea that with the strength of our volunteers, and many others, we could supplement and contribute to some of the charities endorsed by the NASCAR community.
LDSC was officially announced on Saturday, April 1st, 2006. We received our Federal ID number on March 1st, 2006.
Proceeds generated by the volunteers working for LDSC will be directed to funding various NASCAR endorsed charities and charity projects. We are looking forward to working with many other groups to achieve a broad range of goals.
This website is still in the development stage. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
